"I've driven across Australia in my 4X4 towing a caravan, & with EcoDrive V25 everything felt smoother & more efficient. I was cruising up the hills, no problems. It was a game-changer for me.
It also saved me money at my service; no repairs or new parts needed. The mechanic said it was ticking over nicely. I showed him EcoDrive V25!
I won't drive anywhere without it. I put a little in my tank each time I fill up."

Frequently asked questions
How does this product work?
The EcoDrive V25 fuel conditioner contains non-toxic, non-hazardous molecules produced from a natural, sustainably-grown source. These molecules fix any fuel issues (inherent in all modern fuels) to create a complete combustion in your engine. With a complete combustion, your vehicle has more power and will emit less carbon particles, which is better for our lungs and the environment. These molecules also prevent any bacteria that might be present in your fuel from forming. It tackles sludge, turning it back into useable fuel while keeping your fuel tank & engine parts clean. The formulation does not alter fuel specs, because the molecule's action is physical and not chemical, making it safe to use with no risk of over-dosing. EcoDrive V25 is super concentrated, so a little goes along way.
Why do I need EcoDrive V25?
90% of Australia's fuel comes from a variety of global fuel suppliers and feed stocks. These blends come with issues and incompatibilities, which affects the performance of engines and the longevity of engine parts. Using EcoDrive V25 in your tank, no matter which type of fuel you pump, will optimise performance, stop fuel waste, keep your engine clean, be kind on the environment and save you money at the bowser and at service time.
How & when will I notice the benefits?
It takes around 8 hours for the formulation to work its full affect on the fuel in your tank. After 50-100kms you will start see the benefits. If your car's fuel consumption average on your dashboard is an average of the car's total history, it will take longer to display the new average; you will see it displayed as a gradual drop off. However, if you are able to reset your vehicle's average fuel consumption computer back to 0 consumption, you will see the average drop after 100km & a new average will be displayed. Within 100kms the vehicle will feel more responsive with acceleration, you'll be able to drive up hills on an easier gear (increased torque), your overall drive will be smoother and quieter. If you car is an older model which emits smoke from the exhaust pipe, you will notice that decrease and stop. If your vehicle has a DPF (diesel particulate filter) your regenerations will be less frequent, extending its lifespan. If you use AdBlue, you can expect the consumption to drop by around 20%. All these improvements culminate to allow your engine to work more efficiently, as it would if it were a new car. There is no added benefit to using more EcoDrive V25; once there's enough for it to do its job, the job is done.
Does my tank need to be empty before I add EcoDrive V25?
No. You can add EcoDrive V25 safely and confidently into a tank which already has fuel (all fuel types including E10, unleaded petrol, diesel, and premium fuels) There is no risk of over-dosing, so even if you guesstimate the amount of fuel you will pump in at the bowser, there is no harm done to your engine or fuel spec. You can go ahead an add EcoDrive V25 every time you fuel. Squeeze 10ml into the bottle's dosing chamber to treat 50 litres of fuel - or adjust accordingly. You can't get it wrong, so don't worry if it's slightly over or under!
Is EcoDrive V25 the same as other fuel additives?
In short, no. EcoDrive V25 is the only real green-technology, environmentally-friendly, risk-free additive/fuel conditioner on the market. Other additives, including premium fuels, do not offer all the benefits that EcoDrive V25 does. The additives sold off-the-shelf and found in branded premium fuels are fossil-fuel based, have low flash-points and are skin irritants. EcoDrive V25 has a high flash point, meaning there is no over-dosing risk and it's safe to transport in hot or dangerous conditions. We could create a whole website on why EcoDrive V25 is different, and dare we we say it, better than other additives on the market....and we have! Can I still use premium fuel at the bowser?
Absolutely! While you do not need to buy premium fuel if you use EcoDrive V25 (saving you money!) it is safe to use with premium fuels. With petrol is important that you continue to use the octane level recommended by your engine manufacturer (91, 95 or 98) For diesel, you don't have to worry which type you use (premium or standard) In short, you will gain the benefits from both the premium fuel and EcoDrive V25. They are a dream-team combination! EcoDrive V25 enhances premium fuels, while protecting your fuel from microbial growth, sludge formation, excessive carbon emissions and engine corrosion.
How long does one bottle last?
Shelf-life for EcoDrive V25 is 12 months from opening. A bottle treats 600 litres of fuel and saves you 30 litres of fuel. Imagine the savings! Have you tried our Fuel Saver Calculator yet? Your wallet will thank you for it. (scroll up the page)

I'm interested in additional technical information
- EcoDrive V25 is a surfactant & lubricity improver. It is a non-hazardous chemical fuel additive derived 100% from vegetal organic compounds.
- Across the world, the formulation & product in EcoDrive V25 (Aderco) treats 40 billion litres of fuel annually.
- It is used in diverse engine types (with OEM letters of approval) in multiple industries including retail fuels, mining, freight, shipping & defence (NATO approved)
- Currently, in Australia, the formulation is used by mining companies, state-owned assets (ferries), and independent bulk & retail fuel suppliers, as well as various small marine & fuel storage operations.
- Flash Point > 146˚C, making it safe for all fuels, safe for air travel including commercial, & safe for extreme environments & temperatures.
- All results, claims & trials verified by SGS Group, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) company.
- The Aderco Group is B Corp Certified.
- Modern fuels are blended from multiple sources/feed stocks; the advantage is that fuels are far cheaper to produce. The disadvantage is there is a lack of supply chain control, allowing an excessive amount of unsaturated hydrocarbons (olefins) in the fuel. The result of these olefins is a heavier fuel (clusters of fuel molecules) which cannot combust fully & over time, build up as 'sludge'.
For this reason, premium fuels have become common due to these blended fuel incompatibilities. Additives are added to fuel to achieve a complete combustion. Without fuel additives, the fuel clusters/aggregations in the fuel at a molecular level are injected into the combustion chamber, and retard a complete combustion.
There are 2 types of technology to achieve a complete combustion with these clusters/aggregations: one is to enhance the combustion with petrochemical-based additives (common in many premium fuels), which have a very precise dosing criteria and are not great for the environment!
The other option is EcoDrive V25, which is 100% ashless, metal-free & organic. EcoDrive V25 physically neutralises and separates the clusters into singularity before the fuel leaves the fuel tank. This results in smaller droplets injected into the combustion chamber, which allows for a complete combustion of the fuel, extracting 100% of the fuel's calorific value. This is how you gain fuel efficiency and fuel savings by using EcoDrive V25. - Today's blended fuels also entrain water molecules from condensation & moisture in the air, which will cause microbial growth. EcoDrive V25 removes any moisture from the fuel and negates the need to use a separate biocide (which the fuel bug eventually builds a resistance against). The water that drops out is dealt with by the engine's filtration system. With the water now separated, the filters can work optimally.
- EcoDrive V25 still brings benefits when using premium fuels and premium diesels because of its additional lubricity enhancement. It's important to note, lubricity limits for Australian Fuel Standard have remained the same since 2001, whereas today's engines have become far more sensitive and complex (eg common rail)
